FloodSmart Flood Pillows give the opportunity for businesses and home owners to be prepared and ready to respond quickly and easily in a flood emergency. Flood preparation and flood response has always traditionally revolved around the use of sand bags to protect properties from water damage. Sand bagging is an incredibly labour intensive process. Even sourcing and transporting the sand in a crisis to then manually fill the bags is an arduous process.
The FloodSmart Flood Pillow performs like a sand bag or similar products, without the sand. Made from a sturdy Geotextile fabric, the Flood Pillow contains a highly absorbent polymer that activates when exposed to fresh water. When fully activated they may be stacked as you would sand bags to create a highly effective barrier to block or divert nuisance water. Alternatively, they may be used to absorb water from roof leaks, leaking appliances such as washing machines, freezers and dishwashers and in many other circumstances where water is seeping. Flood Pillows can be activated using the flood water*, by hose or soaking in a temporary bund, wading pool or even a bath. (*not suitable for salt water flooding)

Can FloodSmart Flood Pillows be re-used?
In most cases, yes. Allow the water to evaporate from the Flood Pillow. This could take a number of weeks pending conditions.
Please be cautious if the Flood Pillows have been contaminated from flood water such as sewerage. In those cases it is important to have them disposed of.
Returns & Replacements

Please note there is a 15% restocking fee for orders placed incorrectly. Goods must be returned in its original packaging and in a resellable condition for a refund excluding our restocking fee and original freight.
